The Windfall Inventory System
Pyramid Logistics knows that every customer has different needs and data requirements for tracking their inventory. We use a flexible system that was designed by the Windfall Company for tracking the massive amounts of inventory necessary for hotel renovations. The Windfall System has been modified for use with tracking display and convention logistics and features:
- Bar-coded inventory warehouse system. Bar codes allow us to quickly scan and track all items so that we can organize delivery, pickup and location in our warehouses.
- Individualized customer profiles. Each customer has an individual profile that includes all information so that we can quickly find anything we need to contact the customer or match shipment and other preferences to our database.
- Data entered through a portable data collection device. Pyramid Logistics takes full advantage of today’s technology with portable data collection devices to scan all packages quickly and enter the data into the system instantly. This allows us to find any item immediately and keep track of a large number of items at once for our customers.
- Captures only data needed. Unlike some systems, the Pyramid Logistics system collects only the data needed and does not include lots of extraneous information to slow down logistics activities.
